How does it work?

  1. You will arrive at the venue to the sounds of the African drum as drummers welcome the guests with two fires burning on either side.
  2. Enter the venue with back ground African music from your DJ
  3. Announcements/ house rules by MC
  4. A drum will be provided to each delegate and be led by a team of professional drummers to have your company drumming in harmony to the African rhythms.
  5. Starters served
  6. Gumboot performance at the spaza shop – 15minutes
  7. Main course served
  8. Zulu dancers perform at the boma area – 15 minutes
  9. Marimba Band perform at the Hotel – 30 minutes
  10. Deserts served
  11. DJ turns up the sound and has the entire shebeen dancing or sat back at the cigar lounge.

  • Event choreographer at the event
  • 1 x Back drop
  • Sound, microphones with engineer
  • Lighting for the township DJ
  • Back ground lighting
  • Fire bin at the entrance
  • Set up and strike
